This ongoing series of images was made during a handful of camping trips. Being outdoors—away from my usual rhythms—felt both grounding and expansive. There’s something liberating about embracing the unpredictability of nature. Wet socks drying after a surprise rainstorm, a soot-covered kettle used each morning, or wildflowers tucked gently into a tin cup—these small, fleeting moments became my materials.
When I’m away from the noise of daily life, time stretches. There’s more room to notice things, and more space to untangle thoughts. Holding onto that stillness, and honoring the quiet clarity that can surface when we step outside.
