I joined my oldest friend, Faline, and a group of strangers on a 7-day journey in the Himalayas, the Annapurna Base Camp trek. For most of us city dwellers, it was the longest hike we had ever attempted. This book pairs photographs from the journey with images of cherished items I carried, alongside excerpts from Faline’s journal.
